We’re 100 Years Old… and Still Kicking!

2022 is a milestone year for us, here at Kelly’s Propane and one we’re proud of – we turn 100 years old! As we reflect back on our rich history, it’s worth noting that while so much has changed in how we heat our homes, cottages and businesses, the foundation of our business remains the same – a passion for customer service. And while that’s a really easy thing to state – and let’s face it – every business does – it’s another to prove it – day in and day out. We think there’s no better way to actually demonstrate that core belief than in this 100-year birthday celebration. It’s that simple – no business survives for that long without the trust and loyalty of their clients. We believe that loyalty is earned with every propane delivery, phone call or inquiry.

100 years ago, we were busy delivering coal – a natural offshoot of our founding roots delivering lumber and firewood throughout the Kawartha’s! In 1922, we formed the Peterborough Fuel & Transfer Company which is the founding company of Kelly’s Propane today. The Kelly Family remains involved, a heritage that runs deep.
